We are looking for a Security Operations Analyst to join our friendly Technology Operations Team. You will be known as an excellent communicator, someone who has the communication skills to ensure our stakeholders understand threat intelligence models and security data. You will have experience of working with external Security Partners to monitor, maintain and protect networks, systems and assets from malicious activity in similar sized organisations. This role is permanent and based in our central Wellington office.
About the role:
The Security Operations role is part of the Technology Operations team. This team manages Data Centre and Cloud hosting, networks and Microsoft 365 technologies.
To be successful in the role you will have an unflappable nature and be known as someone who provides clear and consistent messaging as you lead the response to ICT security incidents. We require a subject matter expert who will relish the opportunity to make incremental improvements to the security of our system as we strive to be match fit for GW and the organisation goals.
