We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving the quality and customer experience across the Metlink Public Transport Network. We are seeking a person with experience in asset risk and performance management, to develop and maintain risk and performance frameworks, and health models for relevant Metlink assets to ensure we invest in the right asset at the right time.

This is a permeant full time role located in our Cuba Street office.

About the role:

The Asset Performance and Insights Specialist will lead the oversight of Metlink's relevant asset portfolios in relation to asset risk and performance.  They will also be responsible for data integrity, analysis, and communication of insights to stakeholders from a variety of sources in Metlink's information systems.

This role involves the development of risk and performance frameworks, and health models for relevant Metlink assets to ensure we invest in the right asset at the right time and ensuring whole of life cost is minimised.  This will involve working with the Asset Advisors to provide expert risk and performance management input, and other key data insights into investment planning and delivery, to ensure the smooth running of the Metlink's transport network and to provide an attractive and safe customer experience. 

Skills and experience required:

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Engineering, Planning or similar). 
  • Demonstrated experience in Asset Risk Management, preferably in the transport sector.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Experience in developing and working with data and models
  • Experience drafting reports, including business case development
  • Ability to build and develop effective internal and external relationships
  • Understanding of Project management techniques
  • Experience applying data analytics tools to decision making
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including delivering presentations and writing reports
