This memo gives a brief description of the hydrological characteristics of the main streams in Kāpiti (excluding Waikanae and Ōtaki Rivers), it presents selected hydrological statistics for each stream, with a focus on low flow characteristics.

Note: Greater Wellington undertook this work as part of information gathering leading up to the Whaitua Kāpiti process. This is only part of the information base that the Whaitua Kāpiti Committee may have drawn from and is not considered to be definitive.
