Have a go at mountain biking in Belmont Regional Park
Bring the whānau for a day of fun on wheels at the skills track in Belmont Regional Park.
Tamariki aged 7 and up can join guided rides and skills sessions designed especially for those new to mountain biking.
Don’t have a bike? EkeRua ReBicycle will be there with kids bikes to borrow.
Riders will practice balance, cornering, and drops, with an option to explore the climbing and downhill trails in native bush of Belmont Regional Park. New riders can stick to the flat skills area, test their fitness riding in the forest.
Our adventure basecamp will have a sausage sizzle, games for the whānau, bike safety checks, and places to chill out for a picnic.
This free summer event is delivered in partnership with BAMBA (trail builders), WORD (youth mountain biking), and EkeRua ReBicycle (bicycle charity).
